Autoresponders

Autoresponders are automated email reply programs. Each autoresponder is assigned its own email address and will automatically send your pre-written email message to anyone who sends any email to its address.

Using autoresponders will save you time sending out general information, newsletters and makes it easier to follow up with customers and prospects.

For an example, you could have a link on your website that says: click here to sign up for our newsletter The link would open up your email program and all you have to do is press the send button. No subject line or message is necessary. (go ahead and give it a try if you want to sign-up for our free newsletter). Then check your email in a few minutes and you'll get your automated response.

Most web hosts offer basic autoresponders with their hosting accounts. But if you want more features like timed delivery and sequential email delivery for sending out newsletters, email courses, etc. you'll need a to get something a bit more powerful.

Here are stwo autoresponder companies I can highly recommend. They both offer an unlimited amount of autoresponders for you to use and are packed with the most advanced feature. They also both offer fast and toll-free telephone support.

Getresponse has both free autoresponders or a paid version that is just packed with features, recommended by many top Internet marketers.

Aweber is another excellent autoresponder service that also consistantly gets great reviews form some of the top Internet marketers.

eFax will give you a free phone number to allow you to receive faxes and voicemail which they will forward to your email. They also offer some paid upgrades such as a local number with your area code (not avail in all areas).

jfax works similar to manner to eFax.  Check them both out.  In fact, sign up for a free number from both, you never know when they will come in handy.

Pagoo is a free service that you use to send phone calls to when your line is busy.  If you are using your phone (such as connected to the internet) you can forward calls to Pagoo.  They will accept voice mail and faxes and will forward them to your email similar to eFax and jfax.
